Welcome Center for the

Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau

This project was an adaptive re-use of an abandoned restaurant that had been occupied by a national restaurant chain. The building had been vacant for over three years and needed serious renovation work and an overhaul of the buildingā€™s interior. However, through the creative vision and imagination of the owner and architect, the abandoned space was brought back to life.
The 5,000 sq ft welcome/convention center features exposed wood beams and stone accents throughout that embrace the southern lifestyle with a classy rustic charm. The SCVB Welcome Center has also added considerable curb appeal to the main thoroughfare of historic downtown Statesboro, Georgia.
